My HU just gave out like about an hour ago. I don't invest in car stuff anymore. Too many thiefs out there. I'm probably gonna replace it with a factory HU. Yeah I know... I'm cheap...lol |

Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 7684 Registered: Dec-03 | hmm alpine F#1status source rainbow reference cd630.30 front stage zapco competition amplifiers and signal processing probably stick with my two RE triple X 12" in the AP enclosure. 300A alternator, 0ga power dist, capacitors to reduce AC ripple in DC voltage rails program voice recognition and program an iR transponder for audio system control below 120dB that'd be a nice start to my ideal SQ system |
Bronze Member Username: LittleguyPost Number: 20 Registered: Dec-04 | How much? |

ThatGuyYouKnow Unregistered guest | The tru tech hammer series isnt really that great, 69.1% Efficiency, so 69.1% of the time you get 1500wRMS @ 1ohm and for 1,427.25 USD I think you can do better. That current exchange from 1,100 EUR to USD. For that price you could almost goto a JL dealer and buy 2 1000/1 amps, and around here last time I checked was 799 USD each. I only want 1 REX.X.X in a snailshell. but it would be nice to have the 300+ USD componets from rainbow audio. |

Rainbow Audio Platinum components (being realistic here ) 2 Image Dynamics ID Max 10" subs run AP or 1 12" ID Max ported, dependant on vehicle and what I feel like at the time. Knukonceptz wiring |
Silver Member Username: AlpineuserPost Number: 232 Registered: Mar-05 | how can people say it wont be that great when no one on here has heard it. and great is so subjective just like sq. the one thing that everyone can agree on is that thing is gonna get freaking loud |
Gold Member Username: SubfanaticWalton, Ky Post Number: 3043 Registered: Dec-04 | yea i know its going to be loud, but is also going to cost 6,000 bucks, id take a parthen oon or two |

Bronze Member Username: MixneffectOrangevale, Ca. USA Post Number: 65 Registered: Apr-05 | I just need a new HU. My stock Hu just died. As it was playing a cd, it went into error mode. The next thing I know is that the cd got ejected. Now the sensor that switches from the cd to the radio is jacked, because the mechanism that sucks in the cd keeps on attempting to load the darn cd. The lame thing is that there is no cd in it. Every couple of seconds the sensor kicks in and I can hear the motor running. To make things worse is that it does this even with the ignition off, thanks to GM's power feature. I think my batery will wear out soon. I hate investing in autos because it usually gets stolen. |
Bronze Member Username: DisturbedpriestPost Number: 80 Registered: Jun-04 | If your worried about it getting stolen buy a peice of sh!t boss.. who would want to steal that... i installed one for a friend who is cheap.. i hate it.. i hate all boss crap, but they liked it and it has a removable face plate.. but i would go with anything i mean like a panasonic which is good but cheap, or a pioneer.. but something you can take your face off of.. who would want just a cd playeR? oh and dont leave it in your car out in the open... put it in your console and lock it. or go with the boss audio.. he1l to make it even funnier get a boss marina radio and install it.. man that would be great.. a thief walks up and looks at that white boss marina radio and goes wtf?? dude your lame he keys your car and waits for you in a alley to kill you for buying boss and ruining his crack habit. |
