bnardi Unregistered guest | Hello all. I am looking into a set of Aperion speakers 533 LR, 533 VAC center, 433 or 533 surrounds. I noticed that the Hsu STF-2 is $399 and so is the 10" sub that Aperion sells... was going to go with the Hsu based on all of the recommendations here on the forum.. the one thing I have not been able to find is a description about what makes the Hsu subs so great? Should it outperform the standard 10" Aperion sub especially considering its the same price. Of course I can always try and return if unhappy but I am loooking to make the best decision first if possible. FWIW I know there have been many posts here regarding the Ascend speakers but I am looking at the Aperion vs Ascend mainly b/c I don;t care for the jet black look of the Ascends for the area that I have set up for it. Thanks, Brian |

I'm told that Paradigm is one speaker manufacturer which also makes very good subs though. Haven't heard that about any other speaker company. |
