Saturday, December 05, 2009 - 00:08 GMT this is in my chevy pickup truck. I got 2 Rockford fosgate T1500-1bd amps, 1 is powering 2 t1 10inch subs and 1 is powering 1 t2 12inch sub. I am planing on competing in an spl competition to see where I am at. Right now the 2 10's are in a custom box under the back seat and the 1 12 is in a custom box as a center console between the front two seats. Saturday, December 05, 2009 - 15:11 GMT upgrade to a high output alternator & upgraded batt what ohmage r the 10s & 12 ? imo get rid of the 10s & buy a 2nd 12" or vice versa .... so u either do 2 10s or 2 12s NOT 2 different sizes which = cancellation remove ur back seat & build a proper SPL box ...

Saturday, December 05, 2009 - 16:35 GMT Im with rovin. 3 mismatching subs and power will have a harder time putting up good numbers than 2 matching 12s. I would lose the cap and buy a powermaster 3100 or something. Smd forum is having a group buy this month, they're under 300. This will help your voltage till you upgrade your alternator. 1 250 amp would probably be good. With the upgraded batteries. If you really want to be competitive I would start with the subs and a new box. Sorry If this formats weird, posting from phone.

Saturday, December 05, 2009 - 20:57 GMT Two problems I see here... Don't mix different subs or different sizes, cancellation as mentioned already Those amps are not very efficient and definetly too much for a stock electrical

Sunday, December 06, 2009 - 01:24 GMT the 2 10's are dual 2ohm and I am running them 2 ohm to the amp. and the 12 is dual 4ohm and I am running it 2ohm to the amp. I cant get rid of my back seat, I have a kid and this is my second vehicle. so just in case I need the back seat. what about building a spec box for the 12 and just put it on the back seat?

Sunday, December 06, 2009 - 01:45 GMT right now I have my 12 facing forward into the dash and it sounds pretty good. do you think it is still canceling with them all facing forward?

Monday, December 07, 2009 - 01:14 GMT The less crossovers the better, one type of subwoofer is sufficient to cover the bass frequencies

Sunday, December 13, 2009 - 02:53 GMT what if I did 2 t1 12's and 1 t2 12, the t1's in a sealed box and the t2 in a ported box?

Sunday, December 13, 2009 - 06:51 GMT Dude, idk how many times you need to hear it... there is a reason anyone who knows what they're doing doesn't mix different subs, it does not produce good results
