Whats a good ocilloscope that meets my needs?

:-) Tektronix is good, used alot of those.. You really want to spend a good ammount for a good scope, but some go up to 1000$ easy...

man, i was hoping no more than like 200. why does everything have to be so expensive lol. are they fairly easy to use, because they have a lot of buttons lol.

how does that look? also, am i correct that you have a mic and it analizes the sound from the speakers?? or just a probe you stick into RCAs opr speaker output wires...

dam. that first part of the site is confusing. i like that one that you posted trev. it looks like its a great one. it will get the job done but not cost as much as the first one posted by polo.

and you are right, you do have a mic that takes the signal and analizes it. at least thats what i think..

to use a ocilloscope u connect the probe to the amplifers output. then u make sure u are in the correct settings, and ur sweep and everything is set properly... they can be tricky, if ur setup wrong, u wont even see the sinewave at all actually... u want to be set to be able to see the peak-to-peak of the sinewave, that way u can measure the wave with the blocks on the screen... :-)
