You'll need the SACD player to decode the Hi-Rez SACD layer. Your PC cd or dvd drive will be able to play the redbook cd layer of the disc, as long as one exists.

Sony is coming out with a new desktop that can burn/play SACDs. You may need to find out more info. on that. read it at audioasylum.com
