Posted on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 - 19:47 GMT I have a marantz 6005 AVR. I have Klipsch RF 62 as mains. I am getting a Prarsound 2100 pre amp w/ HT bypass. Should I also run the sub out from the AVR to the Pre amp? What is the advantage? I plan to run the speaker as full range. Thanks all. |

Posted on Thursday, April 26, 2012 - 14:00 GMT . If you use a powered subwoofer, it would make sense to run the "sub out" from the component that is being used to control the volume of the system. However, if the Marantz will be the control unit for home theater operation, then you would be missing the sub for HT action when it's being controlled by the two channel pre amp. . |
