Localizing sound was difficult. Standing a few feet from someone while back-2-back resulted in almost not being able to hear the other person.
I don't think people appreciate how 'noisy' their house is. Even at the quietest of times, the background ambiance provides subtle cues.
Even at 0-dark-30 when my house is at its most quiet, the liveness of the room provides a sense of real space. |
