I AM ABOUT TO BUY A PIONEER VSX-521 (EURO 240)TO GO WITH BOSTON ACOUSTICS CS226 (EURO 220) LOUDSPEAKERS AND AN LG BD 650 SOURCE(EURO 80). ANY IDEA IF THAT WOULD BE A DECENT START AND IF ALL THOSE TOGETHER COULD MATCH CORRECTLY FOR A NICE SOUND HOME AUDIO SYSTEM?? KINDLY FEEL FREE TO PROPOSE ALTER DEVICES (BUT LET KEEP THE BUDGET IN SIMILAR LEVELS!! |

Why not step up to slightly higher quality gear? What's your budget? If you aren't in need of the tuner to listen to radio stations - and who is today with most stations broadcasting a cleaner signal over the internet?, you shouldn't buy a receiver. A higher quality integrated amplifier would forgo the tuner for better sound overall. Check audioadvisor.com
