Rotel RP-900

I have a Rotel RP-900 record player, the instruction manual says it has a ground wire on the back but is dosent. Does anyone know how i can earth it as all i can hear is hum in my amp???

Any piece of wire/cable will serve as a ground wire. The table should have a lug to connect to, run a bare wire end from there to a ground lug on your receiver/pre amp.
