Posted on Sunday, April 10, 2011 - 05:07 GMT No 'tech' section so here goes: How much do you think it'd cost to rent a decent, old-school 30 or 60mhz O-scope? I'm curious about a few things....like leakage emissions from various pieces of gear and would like a scope for a few days. Greenlee and others make non-contact voltage sensors of which the low-voltage variety start at a couple volts and go UP. Frequency response is dismal, too, since the meter is mainly aimed at the 60hz crowd. |

Posted on Sunday, April 10, 2011 - 15:48 GMT I wish I still knew a HAM radio guy! And Jan, since you're in a good way, today, answer another question, please. Does Fused quartz retain piezoelectric properties? I've seen it ref'd both ways. |
