Posted on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 - 19:59 GMT I have an Emotiva CDP on the way and in the meantime I thought I would look into upgrading interconnects. Currently the CDP will run through a reciever but in the near future I will be upgrading to an integrated (likely a Cambridge Audio). What connection would you guys recommend for this and any certain brands/models? Thanks |

Posted on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 - 20:48 GMT Try to take advantage of the balanced outs......The noise rejection alone makes it worthwhile. IF the player is truly balanced. Does the CA amp you have in mind have balanced 'in's? As near as I can figure, only the '8' series has balanced available. Good cables don't have to break the bank, either. |

Posted on Thursday, January 13, 2011 - 16:56 GMT I was a big fan of BJC for a long time, well still am, actually. For the money they're good cables. But when Nuck lent me a pair of Cardas cables.... BAM. Immediate difference - noticeable increase in the amount of bass. |

Posted on Thursday, January 13, 2011 - 17:40 GMT If you go balanced, try Mogami. Inexpensive and available OTC at the local Guitar Center. The difference between the Mogami and the 'as issued' cable was enough to make it all worth while. |
