Posted on Sunday, September 20, 2009 - 03:09 GMT Yes, this has happened to many a car deck...the Bose home systems are not much better. If you don't want to spend the cash, get the screwdriver out and open her up...alternatively, if you care about the unit...as Dave said, off to the repair shop. |

Posted on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 - 01:17 GMT A note to my euro friends here, as well. The recent Euro-union embargo of seal produsts will just hurt ya. Seal blubber is by volume 50times the yield of the even more closely regulated whale hunt from our Japanese friends. Natives here have hunted them for years and forever for sustanence and trade, during the only few weeks allowed, now. Seals are not going away, for goodness sakes, they need to be cut back even more now, 15 years after the first great hue and cry about the hunt. If it was ugly, you would not care. The seals feed and sustain people. because the seal lovers have made headway, we have no cod to fish for. Seals eat cod stocks. More seals, less cod=no fish for humans. Idiots. Yummy seal |

Posted on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 - 02:16 GMT The same here happens with Kangaroos. If you were a farmer losing crops to them you'd understand the need for culling - there are millions of them. Who wants to pay for twenty foot fences around farms. All that heart friendly meat hopping around the country. We could feed the world - if only the world would eat meat. But cute little, cuddly, furry seals . . . And another thread gets unwound :-) |
