I have a Harmon Kardon AVR 20 (60 x 2) that i am using for 2 channel music only. the unit has pre-outs so i would like to ad an amplifier and bi-wire the IQ TED400 speakers that i just purchased. In the absence of finding an HK amp, what other amps might be complimentary?
What's the budget there Steven? As far as matching your receiver to an amp, I would be more concerned about matching my speakers to an amp. Some amp/speaker combinations are notoriously sucky. Someone on here is probably going to ask you why you feel you need an outboard pre-amp (i.e. what is your system lacking?).
