I am having some troubles. I am pretty sure it's foobar related but it do love Foobar :-( I plugged in the dac, and with normal output the songs crackle and stuff a bit. I put the ASIO stuff on next and it helps with the noise and the clicking when I skip songs. Unfortunately I get a few drop outs during a song. Running a HD over ethernet from main PC to media pc then use VNC viewer to play songs. Media Monkey seemed to fix problem (but i still want to know why foobar went wrong). I used to have a creative external S/C with USB and never had a problem with dropouts (hence why i didn't point to ethernet streaming as the problem). PC doesn't overload cpu to cause it either.

That's really weird Kirk. I'm using the same DAC with Foobar (with the standard configuration), and it works great.

Which version of Foobar are you using?

Newest one. I ended up going back to my external creative soundblaster to feed to this dac and it works great so maybe the onboard sound on my media pc (and a laptop i tested) just wasn't the best to pass to dac.
