Has anyone attempted to crack open a Bose built-invisible 102 Extension amp? I know, I know, before we go off on the usual rant and rave about Bose... It's already in the house, it's broke and I have to deal with it. The Lifestyle CD20 was working fine when both Zones quit working. Preamp is fine, tone to all speakers so it's gotta be the amps. Figure one of our MANY storms this summer got them. Leave it to Bose to not have an external fuse. Bose wants $200 a pop at repair facility to fix them. I'm willing to bet that if I can get into them there's a pica fuse or something to easily fix. Before I do a hack job on them was wondering if anyone out there has had them open before. Any help would be appreciated...
