Hey,

I just picked up the Infinity PC350 center speaker and this thing is pretty big. Turns out i don't really have a place for it. So, I figure i can rest my Sony Bravia 42in LCD TV (on the mount) on top of the speaker. Do you think this could damage the speaker?

It's resting on top of the speaker now and seems to be fine. The speaker is large enough that there is enough room for the base of the LCD TV stand. (The TV is probably about 50 lbs)

I've heard of some people doing this with the v5 Paradigm center channels (which are ridiculously large).

Never tried it myself.

At least LCD's are relatively light, compared to Plasmas.

Placing the display on top of anything other than a balanced stand which support the mass of the display cabinet either on it's
a: intended solid center mount, including the entire area of the flat pedestal provided, or
b:an appropriate wall mount frame,
will subject the unit to unnecessary vibration, flexure and stress.

Yep, seems as though the vibration would not be a good thing...not sure but that seems common sense.
