I read some reviews in a magazine (HiFi choice or What HiFi) about matching speaker to stand, but they did not test my speakers. I can't experiment because I have to mail order stands if I want any other than the one B&W set I got locally. I called a Quad dealer (not local) who recommended studio tech-SP24 like these: http://www.studiotech.com/products/speaker_stands/sp_series/index.html for Quad 11L or my Rogers monitors. Anyone familiar with these? It would be easier to just get another set of B&W locally? Can't believe I have been using home made all these years. The Rogers sound much better than ever on the new stands. |
