Hey all. I will run from my Creative Labs stereo digital out SPDIF to my DAC in the lower level. I find no info from either end as to the requirements for this interface(resistance, etc), or recommended max length of cable run. Both ends are single end unbalanced connections. Any thoughts?

You cannot transfer iPod music files to another PC. It is a one way transfer.
You need a hack to get the files from your iPod to a different PC. Put "iPod hack" on a search engine and you will get plenty of hits. Just be careful or you may end up with "sad face icon" on your iPod.
