Hey all.
I will run from my Creative Labs stereo digital out SPDIF to my DAC in the lower level.
I find no info from either end as to the requirements for this interface(resistance, etc), or recommended max length of cable run.
Both ends are single end unbalanced connections.
Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Nuck,
The 75 Ohm digital coaxial cable will have the same limitation like the ones used for analog video. It can be supported for a 100 feet or more.

TOSLINK however is limited to 20 feet and beyond that is prone to signal loss due to internal reflection with cable bends no more than 70mm.

Thanks, Bernie. So terminating the coax with appropriate single ends should suffice?

Huh?

You are hijacking the wrong thread! No wonder you fried your PC, LOL!

You cannot transfer iPod music files to another PC. It is a one way transfer.

You need a hack to get the files from your iPod to a different PC. Put "iPod hack" on a search engine and you will get plenty of hits. Just be careful or you may end up with "sad face icon" on your iPod.
