Cambridge- DacMagic 2i vs S700 IsoMagic

Hi,
I have a Cambridge Audio DiscMagic 1 which I use with the DACmagic 2i.

I have noticed some jitter and am therefore considering changing to a Cambridge S700 IsoMagic so I can use the clocking feature.

What I want is some advice- will I fix one issue (jitter) but end up with lower quality sound as a result, as although I have read some good reviews of the IsoMagic, there appear to be more good reviews for the DacMagic 2i.

Any input appreciated.
