I am planning to buy a Marantz SR-5600 with Wharfedale Diamond 9.2 (5.1 package with SW-150 sub).
Does this combo match to give quality music and cinema experience?
Howz the Diamond 9.2s? Cud someone give a review?

Personally, I liked the Wharfedale Marantz combo. It does not have the warmth I prefer, but the detail it provides is outstanding, without being too bright. Have you listened to it? I'm sure my preference will be different from yours.

Nope Berny, I havent listened to it yet. I have zeroed in that combo based on the umpteen positive reviews.
And in the Wharfedale Bookshelves, which one is the best?

I haven't heard the Diamond 9x series, only the 8.2 which I quite liked...huge soundstage, silky mids, warmish highs. If the 9x are anything like the 8x Diamonds then I'd recommend something neutral or even a bit bright esp. for HT usage.

from the reviews that I have read, some people, and reviewers, prefer the 8.x series to the new 9.x series.

Yes 8.1 rocks!!! And for that price, it's a steal. Juggy, I started with a Marantz 4400 - Diamond 8.1 combo. Listen to it and you'll know what we're talkin about!!

What is the difference between "Bright" and "Warm" muzik?
Many say the Marantz is laid back and not bright, but very warm!
