All,

I have read posts that say that Totem Arrows use DynAudio woofers. If that is the case, can you compare Totems Arros with DynAudio Line-up ?

Do totem Arrows and DynAudio share sound signatures ? If so which model of DynAudio ?

Thanks

Raks

No they don't. Those are not Dynaudio drivers. Some Totems use Dynaudio drivers such as the Forest, Mani-2 and Model-1. Even then, the drivers are to Totem's specification. But not in the Arro, not AFAIK.

Frank.

The driver in the Forrest is not a Dynaudio it looks like it but it is a ATI,the Mani and Model 1 use a Dynaudio.Dynaudio doesent build a woofer for the Forrest application,All 3 have SEAS aluminum domed tweeters. The Arro,Dreamcatcher, and Rainmaker are different different drivers the Arro and DC use the same 4.5 inch MB Quart driver, the DC has a MB Quart aluminum tweeter, they used to make the first version of the Arros tweeter, but on the new Arro Vince built the new tweeter from the ground up.The Rainmaker has a SEAS and a cheaper ATI woofer than the Forrest. The Hawk has a Scanspeak Revalator woofer one of the best desgns on the planet its very idenitcal to the midrange driver in the Sonus Faber Ceramona, but in the Hawk since its used for bass to it has a extra extra long throw which is evidence of its striking low fequency ability for such a tiny driver and it polsihes of the design with a MB Quart aluminum tweeter just like the ones used in the Canton Karat series,so their is a little bit of driver info for you.
