I have 2 12in subs and a 1000 watt amp in my truck. Its a 1998 Ford F-250 super duty diesel. The power for the subs and amp pulls straight from my battery. but because i have a diesel i have 2 batteries in my truck cause it takes alot of power to start the engine. but the subs and amp have been causing my battery to die. what should i do to keep my battery from dying and still have my subs and amp?

Is your battery dying while you listen too the radio with the engine off? If so your best bet would be to either add more batteries or keep the engine running. If that's not the case then you either have a wiring issue or a charging issue.

i would always have my engine on when i would listen to the radio. when my truck was off and i wasnt listening to the radio it would still pull power from my battery cause i would come back and my truck would not crank.

I believe you have a wiring issue. When the key is off your amp should also turn off. How is your remote wire connected?
