i have a Hifonics 1206d 1200 watt mono amp and 2 12" kicker compvr's, i kno for a fact the subs work and are hooked up right, i tried them in a friends ride and they worked fine. But with this amp, no bass is coming out, and it still makes these funnny noise's even when the volume is turned all the way down on the deck. When i plug in and unplug my subwoofer controller knob, the speakers hit once, then continue to make the funny noise's. Also i can make it make the funny noise's by turning the subwoofer controller knob, and also the power light on the subwoofer controller, dosnt light up, but the amp is on the and the green power light on the amp is still on, the protect light never comes on, So do u think the amp is blown? ive had it set up in this configuration for a couple years and no problems. Any help would be really appreciated.
