there are plenty of subs that are comparable to the W7's that cost way less.

from my own personal experience, i just switched from a 13W7 to a Treo SSI 15 and i'd never go back to the W7's.

other brands to look at would be Ascendant Audio Havoc and Arsenal, IDMAX, Adire Brahma, Crystal...just to name a few.

Get 2 x IDQ (if you have space) it will sound better and just as loud (if not louder)

don't get an H2. they are cheap, yes, but require tons of power and still don't sound good.

IDQ's don't require a lot of power and sound great from what i've heard. haven't had a chance to hear one in person, but i've heard no complaints about them.

or if you want to wait or find one on ebay, the IDMAX is a step up from the IDQ. they aren't currently made. new versions are being worked on.

MO,

I have heard them in two set ups. Both were 2x12's and both set ups were sealed boxes, sounded very good. I have never heard 15's, I imagine they are still pretty accurate for the size of driver. Very good value for the money.
