add visonik and Clif Designs to the list, too. Cadence is Hq'd in New Jersey.

I would expect a decent amp from UL.

For $140 even if it's only 1000w it's still a lot of power for the cost.

Specs have a couple misprints though. Two things a mono amp can't do -- be 1/2 ohm stable in stereo, and be tri-mode capable.

at 2 ohms the amp does 800w rms. Two subs wired for 2 ohms (dvc 2's or svc 4's) will get 400w a piece.

1200w rms - 600 per sub. That would require SVC2's or dvc 4's

just the possible wiring configurations. Sound/power handling is the same. Typically dvc's are a few $ more than svc's but not enough to make much difference.

If you have an amp designed to make the most power at 1 ohm you obviously want to get a 1 ohm load on it. That required dvc 4's if you're planning to run two subs.
If the amp makes the most power at 2 ohms you'd want svc4's or dvc 2's.
If it's a two channel amp that makes the most power when bridged into 4 ohms you would again wand dvc 4's
