after all the questions i decided to go with the 2 mtx 9510-44 (dual 4 ohm) and the mtx ta81001 (if im correct these subs will being at 1 ohm having this amp use all 1500 watts right?) and i was wondering should i use a ported or sealed box and how should i face the subs...up down back or forward?
I have a Ford Ranger (standard cab) and I have a 12" X.X.X in a box behind the seats, facing the seats. Sounds pretty damn loud to me. I had another box behind the seat down firing. A lot of guys say to down fire, but I didn't notice much, if any difference. Maybe just me.
