Hi, I have an MTX 282 2 ch thunder sub powering infinity 6 1/2s in the front doors at 45 W RMS each. I'm fairly happy with the sound and volume, but there's this annoying wheeze that seems to follow the RPM of the car. We know it's not the deck because you can turn the deck off and it still wheezes, also the wheeze intensifies when the AC is on. Also the wheeze is erratic; sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not, but usually it's there the most when I just start the car (a civic 03).

I exchanged the amp for a brand new MTX 282 thunder but it still makes the same noise. I'm guessing I need to switch brands completely, any suggestions for a noise/wheeze free amp, or does anybody know that for sure it is the amp??

check your RCA path to make sure its away from any power wires (stereo and car electrical). also check your grounds (amps and HU).
