Ive got a kenwood head unit, kdc-x717, four pioneer 6.5" speakers which are running off a kenwood 8401 amp, and sirius satelite radio in my car,

i am putting in a jl audio 300/2 amp to run two 12" mm120's(svc, 500 watt rms 100 watt max) and i know im am seriously undderpowering them but i need to get a good cheap amp kit for it. i am keeping the other amp for the speakers in there and was wondering if you guys could tell me which amp kit i would need that would cover everything so i wouldnt have to buy it at the overpriced store, they want like 100$ for an amp kit and i know i can get it cheaper. thanks for the help

run 4 gauge from battery. 8 gauge to both your amps. knokonceptz.com just don't hike their prices, look into cardomain for d-blocks. You may want to go ahead and save yourself some trouble on the wiring. run 2awg gauge from battery, and 8 gauge to both amps. the reason i say this is because in the future you will have to upgrade to at least 4awg to properly power your subs. look for a d-block that accepts 2awg input, and has at least a 4awg output, with a 8 awg output.

if you buy an amp kit all of those terminals should be included-- i recommend buying a strip kit (for wiring) becasue i gaurentee you they dont put the terminals on the wire for you- also it comes in handy in the future- they run about 10-20$ and include a lot of spade terminals that are especially handy when connecting speaker wire and running a remote wire to your head unit
