I have an issue with my amplifier....pretty sure its ok I just dont get any power to it.....I have had some friends look at it and they suggested that the remote line had been fried and i should run the remote line to my ignition.....anyone know how that is done? or where i could find out how to do it my self?

i have 'google'd' it for the past 20 minutes but no directions just suggestions....

is there a certain color wire it needs to be attached to?

i know everycar is very different but is there another place or another way i can see if this works?

by the way i have a 99 rodeo , piece of crap jvc cameleon(2000 model) and a old alpine amp (2000) model as well....

any suggestion would really be appreciated thanks....

yeah instead of wiring the amp's trigger to the head unit's power antenna or REM line, just wire it to any switched 12 volt source at the fuse box.
pretty simple.
