So, I stopped by my good ol' Goodwill today and found these huge speakers, they were 9.99 so I picked them up. After further looking, I found "Designed by Scott Nagel 1978" On them. I opened them up and it is a single 12" Heath Loudspeakers 'Heathkit' driver. They insides are I tried doing some searching, but haven't come up with anything.

Whoo, that could be a goodie, Alex.
I will look.
Tim, of course will know all about them, if he stops by.
Any markings on the single driver?

There is a HF knob on the back. On the speakers it says AS-173.

I'm really liking this goodwill by me, I picked up some Big Advents there a few months ago for $4.99 :-)

Growing up with a self-employed electronics technician for a father meant we had Heathkit stuff everywhere. Amplifiers, tuners, speakers, test equipment....
Heathkit was a very reputable company with well designed products for the professional and the hobbyist.
The AS-173 is a co-axial full range driver. Ideal for pairing with a tube amp.
Alex,
Go to eBay and do a search there for Heathkit AS-173.
If they are in good shape congratulations are in order!
