Ok, I am hardwiring a gps to my cars electrical system and sound system. The gps comes with a proprietyary wire to do this. You plug the wire in the jack on the back of the gps. then, running off this jack is a power wire, a ground wire, and a female headphone jack which is meant to be hooked up to a head unit's aftermarket AUX input. No big deal but for reasons im not gongi to get into, i need to add a connection in the middle of this connection. In other words, after har wiring everything, a normal person would just unhook teh jack from the back of the gps and take it with them, but i have to make it so the jack on the back of the gps always stays plugged in, and i have another connection in the middle of this that i disconnect instead. For this i am using a standard 4 prong Harddrive power cable which is perfect for my situation.. Ok, heres the problem.

On the proprietary gps plug, there are 4 pins. i figured ground, power, audio left, and audio right. I would then hook each of this up to their own pin on the harddrive power cable. But after stripping everything, I find that there are 4 wires associated with the audio. There is a yellow, orange, blue, and bare wire.

Where do I wire these to on my harddrive cable? 2 of the pins are fro the gps power and ground. how do I wire these other 4 wires onto the harrdive power cable? It boggles my mind because the proprietary gps jack has only 4 pins. how does it hook up all 6 of these wires? Please help!! Im so desperate that the first person who provides me with a worknig answer will get $10 paypaled to them! Please help!

Attached are some images to help visualize what ive said.

Each channel, left and right, consists of a negative and positive wire. Therefore, there will be four wires total for the audio alone.

I have no idea what you mean by:
