Problem with firewire

Ok, I baught a firewire pci card off of ebay brand new factory sealed. It didn't come with the drivers at all but according to the store that was selling it, windows should already have the OHCI Texas Instruments IEEE 1394 drivers. Indead, Windows XP does but I'm having a problem. It finds it and even gets the drivers but then it says erro code 10 and that it cannot start the driver. What does this mean? How can I fix this is my real question.

try going to the manufacturer's website and see if they have downloads in the support area.

I was under the impression that it was made by Texas Instruments??? Yes, check the card, it should be printed on there somewhere.
