Well I ended up getting my daughter one of those LCD flat screen/DVD player combos. She needed one for her room. 19". Nothing special but she'll love it. After discount it was $169. I'd like to get one of those wall mounts that have the extensions and swivels. That way she can watch in bed or anywhere in her room with just a tug and swivel. I'm guessing they're pricey.

Shoot it's been well over a year since we've heard from Berny, (project 6). Like many of the old regs I miss his input on MANY issues. I hope he's ok and doing well wherever he is. He is a well versed man on life that I always loved reading his views on.........whatever he contributed to.

On the player Sean, thanks but even though it may be a great unit, with today's prices on players and my current need for them I'd be better off buying new.

well i didnt break my 153 record but still managed a respectable 152.4 1st place in stock pro 1

i think ducka is looking for some1 to answer who has done the same thing as him & chances of that r slim - all he had to do was pm the owner of ID & who else in the world will give u even better advice than the guy himself - earlier this yr i was seeking some advice & eric dealt with me excellently within a day without even asking questions like who i bought the sub from the way other companies who want u to go thru dealers do , top notch after sales service from ID

never tried mine for HT but it shud sound just as great - later on u can try it ported if u want stuff to fall down in ur house ...

yeah i figured go ported with my image dynamics idq 12 v 2 and that will hit 130 or more which is loud enough for sq and use a top notch sun like the idmax 12 for home theater you cant get any better than that

congrats on getting 1st place

Nice job Rovin!

Sean the Berny I'm talking about isn't our Berny from the car audio section. The one I'm referring to is the one who hasn't posted since July of last year. He was in the armed forces and was always talking about having to go back into the sand box overseas. The lack of his response here worries me. I miss the guy.

No. I have a full bar to start with. Beer and booze are two different things. I LOVE beer. I mean it is a main staple in my life. I'm Irish, my ancestors have made a living off "living" off beer lol. Booze is another story. I don't dwell in the heavy stuff. I have it for my bar but don't drink it consistently.

Plymouth, being from Ontario, I bet you can appreciate the difference in beer from Canada and the states. I know from experience that beer bought in Canada has higher alcohol content than in the US.

I've camped in Canada many times and had to adhere to the 2 case beer limit import law. It sucks because when you have a 2 week fishing trip you are forced to buy local beer, which is far more expensive.

Again, all part of the local taxation.

Paul

You are Irish!

You certainly like the stout(black) beer like me?

I'm from Quebec then we have much more choice for the beer than Ontario, we have a bunch of micro brewery, unfortunatly Toronto has the great Beer Festival.Yes we have 5% alcohol then 4 for the USA

The price here is costless than Ontario but nothing to compare with USA.

What is you prefered beer?

I usualy drink Molson Export!

I'm not a dark beer drinker. I prefer the lighter side. Dark beer like Killians slows me down. I also don't care for dry beer or honey beer. Again I like a beer I can drink on a hot day to quench my thirst.

Preferences? Molsen Ice is good, especially on tap. Pricey to boot. For many years I was a die hard Coors man but once they stopped making Artic Ice I slowly steered away. You guys have Labatts. Outstanding stuff, especially when you get it North of the border.

Well at my age I simply just need to interact more with my son. Catch football/baseball, ride bikes with him, and forever live the life like the 18 year old I have inside myself mentally lol.

Shoot, 20 years ago I could eat an entire pizza and drink a case of beer in a night and wake up (after servicing my girl several times) at 6am and get on a roof and work for 10 hours without a hiccup.

Today? Not so much lolol.

Well I finally made the switch. I decided to stop using whey protein and decided to get all my protein needs from food. It just seems like they dont stick with your body like food proteins do even using slow digesting proteins like casein. Not to mention i think a person gets more nutrients from real food than these protein powders. This will also be easier on my wallet since I wont be buying them anymore. If i feel the need for a protein shake ill make one from real foods. As a side note do you think it would be unwise to go with raw milk? It has ALOT more nutrients than pasteurized.

They are devices of the devil. They make their millions/billions off interest and fees. Some rates are 30+%.

Bottom line is read the fine print and NEVER charge what you can't pay back that month for. Emergencies come up and sh1t happens so you have to account for that as well.
