There's a few interesting threads right now in the sub section. Go check them out, Muddy.

Yeah my first digi cam was the 3 megapix Kodak I "sold" to Wolfman. At the time it was state of the art. Now if you have a cam less than 8 megapix it's considered ancient.

Our old friend Berny always says that there's nothing better than film but it's got to be getting close by now. What do the pros have, 20+ megapixel cams????

check out this review compared to the nikon p90 and fujifilm s1500

http://www.infosyncworld.net/resources/products/fujifilm/fujifilm_finepix_s1500_ s01.jpg

Nikon p90

We stopped by the Nikon booth twice to fiddle with the Nikon Coolpix P90, and for the most part we were impressed with what we captured. Detail is sharp as a tack in the first two images, though some classic image aberrations are clearly visible. Take the fringing along the dots on the dice in the macro image, or the slightly jagged edges in the playing cards in the first image. Colors are also a tad neon, rather than naturalistic and vibrant. The third image is fairly noisier and lacks sharpness, but on the whole, this is one of the better performances we've seen from a basic imager.

Pentax...We had great success with the camera while shooting with it at the booth, and the Coolpix P90 just couldn't hold a candle.

Pentax wins

Congrats on the job man! Its getting harder and harder to find them!

Thats a bada$s camera Sean. I have really been wanting a digi cam for a while now. Just not sure what I would get, I don't need anything special.

Yeah my first digi cam was the 3 megapix Kodak I "sold" to Wolfman.

I remember when I first registered here I was accused of being "Wolfman". haha

So anyway hope all is going well for you guys! Im still working third shift. I finally realized that I was just unable to work nights and stay up most of the day doing whatever. I was running myself into the ground. Oh, well its give and take. I have a schedule that I try and stick to now.

B1tch of it is I wasn't using it, just scrolling through my pics. Cop said you're not allowed to even touch it while driving.

"There's nothing you can do about it." He stammers as he hands me the ticket.

Whattafag.

Hey guys I just had an idea brain f@rt lol. A couple of years ago I invested in a heavy duty canopy setup for my flea mart ventures. I have all the galvanized poles and hardware for a 10 X 20 setup. At the time it was a brilliant idea. That way my potential customers could browse out of the sun. Well last year the mart officials banned these so called temporary canopies because the wind took hold of one one weekend and damaged someone's car. Since the mart is on asphalt they don't allow puncturing it for stakes either. What's left? You have to bring 5 gallon buckets of sand for each corner to be braced to or they won't allow it. Buttwipes.

So here's my plan. Since I invested in this canopy already and don't use it anymore I'm thinking of renting it out for say $20 a pop. You know for birthdays, BBQs, 4th of July parties....or whatever. I'll come set it up and come back the next day and take it down. All for $20. It's a helluva lot cheaper than buying one for a one time use. The setup has been sitting in my shed doing nothing for me anyway. I even bought two identical tarps in the forethought that someday I'll need a replacement.

It just smacked me in the head today when I was putting my lawnmower away. I thought "Why am I doing nothing with this when somebody could be using it?"

Watcha all think? It looks exactly like this one. In fact that's the tarp I have. The canopy is 6' tall at the lowest end and measures 10' X 20". Good deal right?

Helps peeps out, makes me some coin, canopy gets used.....

Yeah that sounds smart. I also have one of those moon bounce toys I got for my kids a few years ago. It's been used maybe 3 times? I paid like $400 for it. I recently saw on craigslist where someone was trying to rent his out just like my canopy idea.

Well sure enough there was a rebuttal listing by someone who rents them professionally stating you can't legally rent them without proper insurance, which only those with a vendor's license can get. He wasn't trying to help but protect his sales, which were 3X what the other guy wanted to rent it for.

I suppose a simple letter resolving me of any liability should the wind ever knock it over shouldn't be too difficult to write up. All anyone needs is an opportunity to sue these days.

Thats a good one steve. Check this out guys. I will take pics as its being done. The alt the battery the big three and the stinger digital volt meter are done next is the adjustable voltage regulator. Although im wondering if my iraggi 240 alt is already not functioning right. The voltage only went to 13.4 tonight after I started the car and then went to 13.8 after a while.

Well I don't consider myself a gamer. Barely frequent them to tell you the truth anymore. Never owned a Microsoft game console so I can't speak for it but I have owned all the Playstations. We have the Wii and my son is really not interested in it too much. He'd rather lounge on the chair and play than be interactive with it physically. I love how the Wii gets you involved but sadly like almost every other "exercise" it gets old quick and you look for the chair.

Do you know how many exercise machines are in ppl's basements that they had good intentions with when they bought them?

The vids you posted Rovin are right on. The gaming community traditionally just wants to veg and push buttons for hours. The Wii is too much for them in the long run.

Well I finally decided on my subs Rovin. Im going to run 8 12 inch phoenix gold rsd's dual 4's for a 1 ohm load in a wall. Im probably going to run a soundigital 3k since I only need 2800 to drive all eight of the subs. Besides the sd does 3000 at 12.6 volts so ill have more at 14.4 which I should stay at with 4 kinetik 1800 batts.
