I have a Sony DCR-PC5 miniDV Videocam with an iLink output. I just bought a new Sony Brava XBR LCD TV that has a USB 2 port on it. I can playback and show the video using composite video but I would rather use a digital connection. Does anyone know anyway to directly connect the iLink Firewire port of the Videocam to the USB 2 port of the TV? I cannot believe that Sony would do such a thing as make non-compatible systems.
The manuals say nothing about this. The manual for the videocam discusses the use of the iLink and the manual for the TV discusses having a USB port. Nothing about interconnecting them.
