Conversion from Digital 8 tap to VCD

Dhruv Unregistered guest	Posted on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 - 04:37 GMT Is it possible to convert Digital 8 tape to VCD on my PC? If so, what all hardware and software would be required? (I'm unfamiliar with Hi-tech stuff so please give me very simple tips. Thanks)

Find out if your camcorder have the ability to transfer from camera to PC. Get good software and do not go cheap then complain later that you have problems. Use software that can make VCD. Read the manual that came with your software. Is that simple enough?

Use a camera that is in MiniDV format or one that uses a hard disk drive to store movie footage.
