Hello. I'm new to these boards and new to camcorders. I have a regular VHS camcorder. It's a Panasonic NV-VS50, and I've had it for the past several years, but I just took out out of the box for the first time today. I read through the manual and tried everything out, but I've got two major problems:

First of all, after recording, I can view the playback fine on the lcd screen, but when I transfer the tape via the adapter to the vcr, all I get is a blue screen.

The second problem is that the playback on the lcd is beautiful, but when i connect the camcorder to the tv and play it on the tv, I have a horrible vertical hold problem, The picture flips like crazy. I've spent hours searching for a way to fix this but I am at a loss. The picture is also back and white. Is there a fix for this problem or should I buy myself a new camcorder?
