I have transferred .mpg files over from my cam to computer using the USB cable provided. I wanted to make a DVD with menus, etc. So I used Pinnacle Stuido 8. For some reason I am not receiving audio during sample playback and even tried burning a disk. Still no audio.
I then went to Sony Vegas 6.0 + DVD Production suite. I can open the .mpg's and see the video but no audio plays.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I be using a capture card, if so which one? ANY help would be appreciated. Very frustarting.
I just bought a DVD203...The audio is encoded in Dolby AC-3. When you import the video to your hard disk, click the "convert audio" option and then your third party editors will understand the audio....Try MPEG Video Wizard...THE BEST!!!! Don't need to convert the audio...... -Louis
