I have a ton o' stuff, the BIG kit is on the block for several reasons.

1: the system is too big for my room, and my house. Period. This Classe needs a large, treated room to be enjoyed, and I cannor offer the kit that openness here. I feel sorry for the cdt-1, it wants to sing.

2: I have too much stuff. This ain't a fire sale, if y'all know the Classe line, this is a top flyte kit.
I ain't selling for a loss, I bought it for a bargain, the price has not increased, and I am NOT in for a barter.
This is the price, this is the gear.

You MUST be serious about your room to make the most of this SERIOUSLY TOP OF THE LINE SS GEAR.

I ain't fukin' around.

Nuck, you dont have a price listed?
Depending on what the price is, I may be interested in the CDT-1, and CD-1.
I'll check back.

David, I really really want to sell the whole thing as a prized kit.
This is the first listing, I didn't xpect a call on it, really. It will go on the Gon, when I proceed, however, this is a welcome reply.
Please e-mail me.

I guess I'll have to wait til you have sorted out plan w/ Gon, as you know, I'm not in need of any pre's, amps, or otherwise, but am intrigued by the transport. Let me know how things go with the package, and if things dont work out, maybe we can find a compromise?

Thanks Nuck, let me know.
Maybe find a way to keep it all, and get a more dedicated listening room? Didnt you just spend some time looking and purchasing this stuff?

Yup, I did so.
It took about a year.
Again, I bought all this stuff(except speakers)recently.
The list(who pays THAT?) is over 20k, I paid a LOT less, and will sell to recover my outlay only.
Well OK, plus a case of beer.

A guy from the city came over yesterday for a listen.
This guy, Rodney is like 55 years old, good guy, and wanted a listen. He just called out od the blue, he got my # from a dealer in London, who must lurk here on the forum.

I spun some tunes, he brought a SRV disc(got it) and a burned cd with Styx, Elvis and some Count Basie.
I spun an Etta James compilation.

He agreed that the system begs for a much larger, softer room, and left impressed(and stoned), but not buying this one.

It's kinda like a 911 Turbo...parked in a living room.

Oh well.

And to boot, the load motor started making a howling noise in the Transport.
I opened it up, seems to be coming from the motor itself, probably the pinion/shaft.
I'll send it to Dan Santorini, he's my tech.
Funny how I'm a service tech but send stuff to this guy.
But if you want a pair of shoes, go to a shoemaker.
Dan will get the transport, and look at the clock in the DAC as well, because he is going to recap the '72 pioneer pre/power that is en route from California to me right now.

Dan's sight is www.dtsaudio.com

My dealer is www.alternativeaudio.com

David, I will let you know when the trans/DAC is 100%.

The combo is so smooooooth.
