My monitor packed in so i bought a 22 inch TV with a monitor connection thinking I can use it as a monitor whilst doubling up as a TV. It seems to work fine for the picture but when I'm using it with my PC as a monitor i get no sound coming out from the PC or TV.
The sound settings on the Pc are fine, all drivers are correct. Am i missing something here?
You probably need to go into the audio setting and tell it to output to the gpus hdmi instead of the onboard audio.
Down by the clock is a little speaker, right click it and go into playback devices. Right click on the hdmi audio output and select default device. Should then be playing audio through the hdmi to the tv.
