IS the XX Colossus "Hybrid" 2-Channel/Mono Block a good amp. IT is rated at 3200 watts rms. I am thinkind about 3 id max 12. WOuld this work

Nick....ID Max subs Can use 750-1000w RMS or more each depending on the application (ported/sealed). So he's going to need a lot of power for 3.
Will Orlando need 3? I don't think so. I think the dude should try out 2 in a ported enclosure He'll be amazed at 2.

Orlando, what vehicle will these be in????

he might need an alternator upgrade that amp will suck down alot of power

Id Maxs are the way to go. Affordable for their class of sub, good midbass transition if you don't have midbass drivers. GREAT SQ. I love mine, WAY WAY WAY loud ported man.....I'm telling you, I love bass, love it. I can't handle it turned all the way up in my Mazda3 Wagon (of course being a hatch back helps). These are the shizit.
