any advice on my setup. just purchased audiobahn 12" 1208 which i plan on using a medium to large size ported box according to supplied measurments, the question is will there be decent sound quality as i always had sealed boxes. my amp is audiobahn as well its the 1500hct that claims 2000 watts in 1 ohm mono. also the sub 2 ohm dvc.just want it loud with good sq.
i always have found better sound quality to come from sealed boxes because the box well act as another spring to the speaker it well kinda make the sub more responsive and the bass is tight and not sloppy witch sounds much much better tight it is true that ported is louder as many well say but if the box is made right then its not louder by much
