My amp is wired for low level output, but do I need to go ahead and install it for high level output too? I plan on only using the low level though...

I read somewhere that this could cause damage by running both...

I have everything installed and it works...just not like it should...barely anything comes out of the subs...I'm thinking its the frequency..or bad wires..

You need to turn you gain up. If you use the amp foe hi-level then your using it for component speakers, if you run low-pass then your using it for subs. If nothing is barley coming out then it could be 2 things: Gain not set right (turn it up) or too weak of an amp to power the subs.
