Ok, here's the deal. I have a 12" 700 watt rms sub, that has a freq. resp. of 20hz - 500hz, that will be going into a slot ported box tuned to 40hz. From what I've read in other threads, I need some kind of filter. Can anybody tell me what I need, and where to get it. I won't be in any spl comps, so I'll really won't be playing many super low frequency's besides the occasional bass test cd.
if your amp doesn't have a subsonic filter, go to partsexpress.com and find the FMOD high-pass filter set to 16Hz or 20Hz. they are RCA level in-line filters, and just what you're after. they're about $20
