Got a 89 avalon xls, comes with a 8inch sub in the rear deck by harmon motive. 4 ohms, 20 watts. I'm looking to replace it with another free-air sub. I got a cheapo pyramid in now and am looking to upgrade to something that can handle the bass a little better. I'm not trying to rock the block just want it to hit when it should hit. trying to avoid going with a box in the trunk if at all possible. Just looking for suggestions on a good free-air 8 inch subwoofer. I heard the kickers are pretty good.
I just looked at the manual for that kicker and it looks like I'll be going that route. thanks for the advice. my pyramid is doing okay it just bottoms out without the box I took it from. by the way i have a 98 avalon not a 89. My bad on previous post.
