I'm installing my system into a new car and am just getting a new wiring kit and I was wondering if the wire for the bass knob is just a regular phone cable or not. I really don't want to have to take it all out. Thanks in advance.
No ive heard its made specially for that amp so you will have to take it out.

Well it really depends on the make of the amp, it very well could be just regular 3.9v phony cable. But your best bet would to contact the manufacturer of the amp, cause it may require a higher voltage and melt the phony cable.
