im wondering what wattage i should use for a brahma. 1500? 1000? 500?

guys i need some help here got my brahma right here need an amp b-4 school starts on 31.

On the bottom you'll see a power chart of what's required for certain sealed boxes. If you build ported, I'd recommend about 800 watts and to not push the sub hard below tuning, use a subsonic filter.

i use a jbl 1200.1 and i would say thats about what you should be feeding it. its rms rating is thermal, it gets full excursion well before that.

Oh, and this is in a ported box (32hz tune) had it running for about a year without any probs.

what about a hifonics nemesis nx750d. puts out 750 watts @ 1ohm. kinda on a budget don't want to spend over 275 dollars. can get the nemesis for about 180 shipped.
