I perfer sealed, but i have heard alot of good things about kicker's square subs and ported boxes. However kicker subs need a huge box when you port them, so that will depend on your vehicle, and how much room you have. I would go to the kicker web site and see what they recomend. Be sure to design the box tuned to the right frequency, and cubic feet for the subs. The only way you will really enjoy a ported box is if it is designed and built corectly. Thats why I always tell people to use sealed boxes if they are going to bye a pre fab box, and not have one custom built.
