Hey I have a 300 Watt RMS amp that can power a load at 2 ohms. So I cant get a shiva :-(. anyway which of these subs would you guys choose and WHY. please tell me why and why not please I cannot listen to either the IDQ or the V-Max.

Also the IDQ is quite a bit more than the other to so please also consider that. Although from the reviews that is my choice right now.

The IDQ is a SQ sub.(Though I've not heard it either.)
THE V-MAX will get more SPL but has good SQ too.
Hope that helps.

At 300w the IDQ is very much a sq sub, but if you put about 600w into it (it can handle it VERY easily) its really a pretty bad little spl sub. But with only 300w, i would go with the v-max, it will sound pretty good, but it will get quite a bit louder than the IDQ.

0k i was really interested in that IDQ but i guess the V-Max is better for the power/price right now.

What about the

MTX 7500 Series
Alpine Type-R
Kicker Comp VR

I can test those out around here but how does the V-MAX stack up against those subs... all ran with 300RMS.
