i have 2 12' subs.they are dual voice 1 ohm subs,im running a 2 channel amp to each sub thats 1 ohm. my question is how to wire these 1 ohm subs not to go below 1 ohm at the amp.should i jump positive to negative or + to+ and - to - on the subs.i went to crutchfield and looked at the wiring diagrams and they dont show 1 ohm sub wiring any help would be great thanks ---also can you wire each voice coil to its own channel on the amp.

If each coil is 1 ohm then wire the two coils in series, that would be connecting the positive of one voice coil to the negative of the second voice coil. leaving you with two unused terminals (pos/neg) that will be your hook up... which would be a 2 ohms per sub 1ohm+1ohm=2ohms
Dose that help?
